Help us clean up a developing climbing area in Northbridge. We’ll be picking up trash, removing graffiti, and developing trails. Shining Rock currently has a few top roping opportunities, and has potential for more top ropes and moderate sport climbs. WMCC volunteers are working with the Northbridge Conservation Commission to establish better climbing access at Shining Rock. Your help with cleaning up trash and graffiti will go a long way in helping us form a good relationship with the Conservation Commission.
Volunteering at the Shining Rock trail day is a great way to meet other local climbers and check out a newly developing climbing area. This Trail Day is made possible by grants from The American Alpine Club and Athletic Brewing. Please sign up in advance so we know how much food to buy!
