Who’s ready to watch climbing at the Summer Olympics in Paris? We are! Why not join in the fun? Join us in a fun challenge to build community and spread awareness about the work of the WMCC.
In order to qualify, tackle one or more of the Olympic Game categories at a Western MA crag between July 20th and August 25th, post on Instagram about your challenge, and tag @wmcc_climb_gneiss . We’ll share your success and announce a winner in each category (bonus points to those posts that elevate the work of the WMCC).

Summer 2024: Climb 24 pitches in a day without repeating the same pitch more than twice. Up the challenge by not repeating any pitches or climbing only pitches over a certain grade.
Combined Format: Do four boulder problems and two lead routes at your project grade in the same day. Choose problems and routes that will be an appropriate challenge for you!
Speed: Pick a route. How fast can you climb it? Sara McFadden has the FKT on the Beach at 3:28 with the draws already hung. Make sure to specify if you lead it or top roped it!
